PRO-PORSCHE TO EXPAND
2009/2010 has been very successful for us; this however has brought a problem with 'space'. Due to an ever expanding diary we have found ourselves short on space, we had been looking into the possibility of re-locating into a new 9,000 sq ft unit when our Landlord approached us with a simple solution 'extend the current building'. Plans have now been drawn up for 2 separate extensions to the building which will double the work shop space and allow us to increase our ramps from 3 to 6.

MOBIL OIL SUPPLIER
We have just been appointed as a Mobil Oil retailer. You will be able to purchase your Mobil products from us in either 1 ltr or 5 ltr forms very shortly.

LE-MANS TRIP
Richard and Scott have just got back from an exciting few days down at Le-Mans. We went down with a team of 10 customers in 'Pro-Porsche' logo cars as seen above. The cars included a 993 Turbo, 996 Turbo, 944 Turbo and our 944 Cabriolet. Some exciting driving was experienced on the French motorways, 1 member who shall remain un named for legal reasons managed 190 mph before his passenger bottled it!! RECENT INVESTMENTS
June has seen our busiest trading month to date, in order to cope with the increased demands we have invested in our 3 rd 4 tonne 2 post ramp. In addition this month will see the introduction of our new 2010 PIWIS diagnostic equipment. Bosch Piwis is the official diagnostic software system that Porsche themselves use.

Pro-Porsche on telly!!! Well kind of!
We had some really good televised exposure with our Pro-Porsche sponsored Subaru rally car of Alex Taylor when it was heavily featured on the recent motors TV coverage of the North West stages rally from Blackpool in February. Former rally champion Alex who works closely with the team at Pro-Porsche beat some of the top names and cars in the business. His privately entered and somewhat unusual choice of Subaru Forester came 4th overall out of a line up of 100 cars, competition was strong with several ex WRC Subaru's, Evo's and Fords but Alex championed in the end with an outstanding display of driving. Following the race, Motorsport News approached him for a 2 page write up in the national paper. Alex's more recent success also saw him finish 4th overall at the Weeton stages in March. The next big event that Alex and Pro-Porsche will be campaigning at in will be the big rally of the midlands on the 18th and 19th of June. www.rallyofthemidlands.co.uk. You will get to see Alex and the car on fine form if you want to come along on either of those days. The Subaru Forester is somewhat of a wolf in sheep's clothing. The 2000 body shell has been developed to run the running gear from a 2006 Impreza STI surprising a large number of competitors this season with its awesome speed and handling. We will keep you updated of the cars progress during the rest of the year.

Restoration commissioned
Pro-Porsche have been commissioned to undertake a major restoration to concours standard of an early 1970 2.2 911. The car was rescued as a very rusty rolling shell from Croydon and will be transformed back to its original form over 2010. A detailed photo file and film will be added to the website along the way.

1973 2.7 RS Carrera Touring Spec
We are also extremely fortunate to have been instructed to recreate a 1973 2.7 RS Carrera Touring Spec car from a basically solid 1984 3.2 Carrera. This will be a particularly High Class Restoration incorporating as many original panels as possible. Our client owns a Film Production Company and this conversion will be filmed at all points to be made into a Dvd documentary. We are aiming to exhibit the car for the summer.

Coming Soon ... Supercar Specialist
The Pro-Porsche group will be further extending its wings into the the Supercar league with a new sister company catering for Ferrari, Lamborghini Aston Martin and Lotus. Headed up by Gareth Merrick, this division will allow us to cater for the ever increasing need for a Northern Independent Supercar Specialist.

Pro-Porsche are excited to announce that Master technician Gareth Merrick has choosen to join our ever expanding team as works manager, Gareth's time at the Leeds OPC will be put to good use here and he looks forward to meeting all our old and new customers during the course of this year.(see about us page for more details).
